At Nitro Digital, we have developed our process over a number of years and are proud of the way we work. But it doesn't just work for us - our clients have told us that our methodology together with our flexibility complement their own processes.
Our process has three distinct phases to it. The first phase is where we prepare for the project and ensure that we have all your requirements understood and clearly laid out in a specification document. The second phase is where we design and/or build the project and deliver it to you fully tested. Finally in the third phase we follow up with you to ensure the project has met all your requirements and then continue to support and develop it during its lifetime.

Requirement collection
We meet with you and draw up a list of your requirements and objectives, from both a design and functional perspective. Importantly, this is where we determine your preferred timelines and deadlines.
Functionality and design specification
From the initial requirement gathering we produce a functional and design specification which we ask you to approve before we begin work.
Planning
Once we know what you want, and when you want it we will produce a Project Plan outlining the key stages of the project and highlighting and dependencies that may impact on the final delivery.
Design
During this stage we typically produce three unique design options. We then ask you to select one and we have up to three further rounds of iterations before you settle on your final choice. Once you have confirmed your choice we will turn the design into a series of web-ready templates.
Development
The templates are then passed to our development department who begin coding the functionality and adding content. This stage will also include design and building any databases your site will use, as well as any tools you require to help you maintain your site.
Stage reporting
We will supply a regular report giving you updates on work in progress, any outstanding issues and detailing any queries we may have.
Quality assurance
Before it gets to you, our products undergo stringent QA testing so you can be assured that what we deliver will be free from bugs, will be compliant with the latest web standards and most importantly will exceed your expectations. All that's left for you to do is sign it off.
Delivery
When you're happy with the product we have developed for you, we roll it out. This may involve setting it up on our servers if you elect to host with us. Alternatively if you have your own hosting provider we will deliver the site by either FTP or on digital media.
Post delivery meeting
A key part of our process is to meet soon after the project is delivered to discuss the next steps and to analyse the process and communication to see if it worked for you.
Support and maintenance
All our products are guaranteed to be bug free for a period of 3 months. This can be augmented by a dedicated support package.
